ASTON Lounge
Aston is a slender, stackable chair with a refined and precise expression. Its versatile design allows the character of the chair to evolve through different combinations of colour, material and upholstery.
The gently shaped legs and backrest create a sense of visual lightness, while structural details — including the connections between frame and back — are carefully concealed within the construction.
Inspired in part by the timeless language of classic Thonet chairs, Aston explores a similarly clear and enduring approach to form. The construction is reduced to a minimum number of components, using techniques such as three-dimensional bending to achieve a seamless balance between structure, expression and comfort.
“With the Aston collection, we wanted to create furniture with a strong identity through simplicity and precision. The Easy Chair continues this idea, combining lightness, comfort and a distinct architectural expression,” says Johan Lindstén.
